Inspired by nineteenth-century French toile de Jouy and the narrative tradition of the Bayeux Tapestry, the Wine Country Collection tells a story of vineyard life in Australia. From the gathering of grapes to the wine press and laden harvest carts, scenes of work and celebration unfold across the composition.

Rich in the rhythms of the harvest, the illustration honours the patient labour, generous hospitality and shared pleasures woven into Australia’s wine heritage. It recalls a world of hands tending vines, neighbours gathering and tables laid in celebration of the season’s abundance.
